No. Resizing uses the Canvas API in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.

PNG output is lossless. JPG and WebP output uses 92% quality, which is visually indistinguishable from the original for most images.

What does the aspect ratio lock do?

When locked, changing one dimension automatically scales the other to keep the image proportional. Unlock it to set width and height independently.

Can I enlarge an image?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can scale up to 200% using percentage mode. Note that enlarging a raster image reduces sharpness — the pixels are simply stretched.
