- 1
Gather your PDF filesOn your device
Before merging, make sure all the PDFs you want to combine are saved somewhere you can access them. If you have paper documents, scan them first using your phone's built-in scanner or a dedicated scanning app. **On iPhone:** Open the Notes app, tap the camera icon, and choose 'Scan Documents'. Save the scan as a PDF. **On Android:** Open Google Drive, tap the '+' button, and choose 'Scan'. The app will save the scan as a PDF to your Drive. - 2
Open the FileFolks PDF Merge tool
Navigate to [filefolks.com/tools/pdf-merge](https://filefolks.com/tools/pdf-merge). No account or sign-up is required. - 3
Add your files
Drag and drop your PDF files onto the upload area, or click to browse. You can add as many files as you need. They will appear as a list below the upload area. - 4
Arrange the order
Drag the files in the list to rearrange them. The merged PDF will follow this order from top to bottom. - 5
Merge and download
Click the 'Merge' button. The merged PDF will be created in your browser and a download will start automatically. Your files were never uploaded to any server. - 6
Verify the resultOn your device
Open the downloaded PDF and check that all pages are present and in the correct order. If you need to make changes, simply return to the tool and start again. **Tip:** If the merged file is too large, try the [PDF Compress tool](/tools/pdf-compress) to reduce its size before sharing.
